MS SQL DBA - 6+ Years.
Must have Cloud experience at least one of them – Azure, AWS and GCP
Must have SQL Server DBA Experience and Knowledge on at least one or two different db engine like MongoDB,IBM DB2, Oracle,MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Perform on-call rotation duties in a 24×7 environment and other duties as required
Create Backups and Restore Databases, understanding the different recovery models
Implement and maintain indexes, and manage and configure databases, including compression and concurrency problems
Collect and analyse troubleshooting data
Manage logins and server roles, and import and export data
Manage SQL Server Agent and audit SQL Server instances
Plan and install SQL Server and related services, including implementing a migration strategy
Replication, Log shipping, AlwaysOn and clustering
Good to have Powershell scripting knwoledge.
Managing SQL Server configurations
Analyzing space utilization
Checking server health
Performing maintenance tasks
Performance monitoring
Hands on experience on Azure SQL Databases and Azure SQL Managed Instances.
Understanding of Azure Virtual Machines (IaaS) and Configurations.
