Experience required:
An Azure Operations Support Level 2 and Level 3 role is a technical position that involves managing complex and critical incidents, performing in-depth troubleshooting, and providing expertise in Azure-based cloud environments. L2/L3 support specialists are experts in cloud technologies, offering advanced troubleshooting, system design, and often serving as the point of escalation within the support hierarchy. They collaborate closely with engineering and development teams.
The consultant must be willing to support incidents reported 24/7 and be available on demand to support any customer requests.
Required skills:
Expertise in Linux administration, cloud architecture, and services
Advanced Linux administration skills, including scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
Strong sense of accountability and ownership of issues until resolution
Capable of technical deep dives to analyze and troubleshoot reported issues
Good attitude towards learning new skills
Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate complex technical concepts effectively
Roles & Responsibilities:
Participate in incident response and problem resolution for Azure and Linux environments
Support multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud strategies where applicable
Provide Azure Infra Support
Provide Functional & Technical Support
Manage the health and hygiene of the infrastructure
Highlight and proactively fix any identified issues before they are reported by users
Review daily/weekly/monthly reports and take necessary actions to mitigate issues
Develop and document operational runbooks, processes, and best practices
Provide thought leadership and technical guidance to the team
Stay updated with new Azure features and services, recommending improvements to enhance the platform
